Trekk pusten opp i det blå
Hanne Grete Einarsen’s exhibition Trekk pusten opp i det blå (Breath Up Into The Blue) concludes the artist’s long-term project of the same name, during which she encounters life and death through art.
The exhibition consists of works of one medium, acrylic paintings, but with different expressions put together to allow the experience of a larger aesthetic universe. The starting point for the paintings is that they all speak about human presence in a body, linked with stories of Sami identity, family history, relationships with nature, and – finally – the encounter with death.

Me and my art will attend at The Skabma Festival in Kjøllefjord.

A five-day workshop at Hanne Grete Einarsen, in Snefjord. The workshop is for invited artists.

A basic introduction to technical solutions for use in their own expression and circulation / reproduction. All artists must have an artist talk, where they present themselves and what they're working with.

• How can one make track in a plate, made of any kind of materials.
• What tools do we use, and when.

Exhibition Thrust youre breath up in the blue, is a mid-life project. I am in my fiftieth year and I have been a professional visual artist since 1988.

The last 4 years have been a personal challenge, with major tasks in order to be able to live as full a life as possible. A cancer diagnosis and a spinal cord injury have caused me to reassess my entire existence, and through this also redefine my place in the artistic cosmos.

The term refers directly to the main part, in the treatment of patients with breast cancer, at the heart site is getting. With the breath, its to help to protect both, the heart and then the patient. And breathing and holding during the radiation treatment.

For me, the treatment was successful.
